Irish themed wedding quilt
The bride-to-be’s parents have asked me to make an Irish themed quilt as a wedding present. These are the wonderful Moda solids that I've chosen.
The pattern of the quilt will be one of the many version of an Irish Chain block.
Since Saturday, I’ve been spending lots of time in the sewing room as the weather has been so much cooler.
I am a very quick stitcher and the pattern is very easy to put together so the quilt has come together very fast. I’m going to give it a good iron then begin attaching the 3 borders - cream, light green then dark green. The binding will be yellow.

Hooray the quilt is finished and has been delivered to the client. The wedding is in a few weeks and I cannot wait to hear what the newlyweds think of the quilt.
